If I Turn Up Dead…

Just a safety precaution if the worst should happen

I do not have any specific reason to fear for my safety. No one has specifically threatened me, but due to my speaking out on certain topics, I think it’s important to say a couple things just to be on the safe side.

  1. I pledge to all my friends, family and anyone else reading this that I will never, under any circumstances, kill myself. I have not had the slightest desire since I was in high school. In fact, the opposite is true. I want to live forever. Even if I am wildly unhappy, which is rare, I still have too much to do in this world to where this would ever be an even remote possibility. I have witnessed so many miracles in this world that it’s nearly impossible that I would ever feel truly hopeless.
If I ever turn up dead, you can rest assured, I did not kill myself and anyone who says I did is almost certainly lying.
  2. I pledge to all my friends, family and anyone else reading this that I will never hide any disease. I do have a blood disorder which some friends and family are aware of. If I am diagnosed with anything else potentially terminal, I promise I will make the information public within 48 hours.
If anyone claims I died of an illness that I have not disclosed, you can be reasonably sure they are lying.
  3. I pledge to all my friends, family and anyone else reading this that I will never go anywhere for more than a day without telling anyone where I am going.
If I ever disappear and no one can find me, you can be nearly certain that someone forced me to disappear.
